Opened in July 2010, ProFruit is very proud to be a 100% family owned an operated company.

Albert Petulla began selling fruit wholesale at the old Sydney Markets in Haymarket in the 1950’s. In 1985, he and his wife Heather opened the roller doors of A&H Fruit Supply at Sydney Markets in Flemington on Stands 1 & 2 in A Shed.

After 25 years of success, A&H Fruit Supply closed it’s shutters in A Shed to open ProFruit on Stands 117-120 in B Shed, Sydney Markets. Years of hard work and dedication enabled A&H Fruit Supply to gain the respect and trust of key stakeholders across the entire producer and customer supply chain. This has been built upon at ProFruit with a continued reputation for hard work and dedication. With three generations of experience working side by side, ProFruit staff pride themselves on their commitment to excellence, professionalism and progress. This extensive experience enables ProFruit staff to give valuable advice to each buyer on what products will have the maximum success in each fresh food outlet as well as constantly consulting with suppliers on methods to maximise grower returns.

ProFruit have created a new level of professionalism in the fresh fruit wholesale market. This is evident in every transaction, from grower to greengrocer, providor, restaurant and most importantly the consumer, for without them we’d all be out of a job!
