Berry Smoothie

My kids love smoothies. They also adore raspberries, so a berry smoothie made with raspberries is their idea of heaven. There are 1000 ways to make a berry smoothie, but this is a tried and tested favourite in our house.

Berry Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups frozen raspberries (of course you could use fresh if you have them)
  • 1 banana
  • 1.5 cups milk
  • 200gms natural yoghurt
  • 2 tablespoons of honey

Method: Peel and chop banana and place into jug or mixing bowl.

Berry Smoothie - raspberries

Roughly chop raspberries and add to jug.

Berry Smoothie - yoghurt

Add yoghurt, honey and milk to jug.

Berry Smoothie -blender

Use a stick blender to mix ingredients.
